Job summary

TIC_Craft seeks a skilled electrician to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, fixtures, motors and control systems in accordance with plans and codes. The role covers high and low voltage work on industrial sites.

You will read drawings, select procedures, install conduit, test systems and ensure safety and compliance, with the ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to understand and transmit instructions; communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in safe use of electrical and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, plans and determine best work procedures.
• Install conduit, weld supports, install cable and duct banks, make terminations.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test systems and verify continuity for safety and compatibility.
• Observe equipment to determine hazards and needed adjustments or replacements.
• Move wiring through conduit; connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Disassemble and repair defective equipment or systems.
• Use electrical and mechanical hand tools, power tools, hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs, and resources.
