Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled electricians in Oklahoma to plan, lay out, install, test and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, motors and control systems in accordance with drawings and codes.

The role involves interpreting plans, measuring and assembling conduit, wiring lighting and power equipment, working with high and low voltages, and ensuring safety and compliance while meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with experience in the electrical field.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and communicate clearly.
• Proficient with electrical hand tools, power tools and measurement tools.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determine best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Install conduit, weld supports, install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
• Possibly pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems.
• Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power tools, hydraulic, pneumatic tools.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; determine time, costs, resources, or materials needed.
