Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States is seeking an experienced electrician to interpret drawings, install conduit and wiring, test systems, and ensure safety across construction sites. The role requires hands-on work with high/low voltage systems and a broad set of electrical tools.

Responsibilities include assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment, evaluating work hazards, and coordinating with supervision to ensure compliance with plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with some field experience.
• Strong working-knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, sketches, software, and plans to determine procedures, tools, and equipment.
• Install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
• Install control and distribution apparatus and fasten in place.
• Test and start up systems and verify circuit safety and compatibility.
• Observe and adjust or relocate equipment as needed.
• Pull wires through conduit; connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
• Work with high and low voltage systems.
• Disassemble and repair electrical equipment or systems.
• Use electrical, hand, power, hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and resources for work activities.
• Inspect subordinate work for conformity to plans and specs.
