BlueWorx is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for commercial installation projects in the Oklahoma City area. This full-time role offers first-shift hours, stable work, and competitive pay with a growing contractor.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Oklahoma Journeyman license, have 3+ years of hands-on experience, and be proficient in reading commercial blueprints and NEC codes. Tools, safety, and documentation duties are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (State of Oklahoma) required.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on journeyman-level experience, with commercial installation experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC codes and standards.
• Ability to read and work from commercial blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools, testing equipment, and lifts.
• Reliable transportation and availability for 1st shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures on commercial construction projects in accordance with code.
• Read and interpret commercial blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections for new commercial builds and tenant finish-out work.
• Install panels, transformers, lighting, and other commercial electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Coordinate with project supervisors, general contractors, and other trades to keep jobs on schedule.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and follow safety protocols on the jobsite.
• Complete accurate documentation of work performed.
