Job summary

Cedar Community in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical systems across our campus. You'll work on outlets, switches, circuits, and building infrastructure, including renovations in apartments and common areas, in a stable, year-round environment.

You must hold a valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license, NEC knowledge, and a clean Wisconsin driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and building infrastructure.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related regulations.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues involving outlets, switches, breakers, circuits, wiring, and other electrical components.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and building infrastructure throughout Cedar Community.
• Install, inspect, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, switches, distribution equipment, and related components.
• Perform electrical work for renovation and remodeling projects in vacant apartments, homes, and other community spaces.
• Identify electrical system issues, determine appropriate solutions, and complete repairs to support safe and reliable operations.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and Cedar Community safety practices.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of residential and community buildings through a variety of electrical projects.
• Respond to on-call responsibilities as needed to help address electrical issues and maintain reliable building operations.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support maintenance, renovation, and facility improvement needs.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
