Job description

OminOn Power currently has an opening for a journeyman electrician in the Southeast region.

The preferred location for this role is Orlando, Florida.

Role Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical frameworks, detection and correction of faults in existing electrical systems.
• Carry standard equipment and parts.
• Perform inspections, assessments, and collaborate with customers to identify issues.
• Install and restore electrical frameworks.
• Communicate with customers, perform inspections, diagnose, and address tasks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess critical thinking skills with comprehensive electrical knowledge.
• Commit to continuous learning and mentor apprentices.
• Select appropriate actions considering project constraints.
• Install and maintain wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, and switchboards.
• Set up and maintain electrical machinery.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Log time and resources for cost calculation.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Act as company qualifier for electrical licenses in multiple states.
• Install and service industrial equipment, including DC power systems.
• Supervise installation and servicing teams.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of relevant apprenticeship
• Valid state journeyman electrician license
• Four years of experience as a journeyman electrician
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
• Willingness to travel 100% with overnight stays
• Ability to obtain electrical contractor licenses in multiple states
