Interstates is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for Des Moines area projects. You will install wiring, conduit, and electrical systems on industrial facilities, travel regionally, and mentor up to four apprentices.

We require an Iowa-based licensed journeyman with industrial experience and BIM/VDC familiarity for pre-planning and on-site coordination. Expect varied sites, a strong safety focus, and teamwork across crews.

Formación

• Industrial electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred.
• Must have state journeyman electrician license or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, assemble, install conduit and wiring on industrial sites.
• Lead or participate in wire installations with conduit and cable trays.
• Connect power to equipment and perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and supervise up to 4 apprentice electricians.
• Coordinate with field foremen and superintendents to keep projects on track.
• Ensure safety standards and PPE usage across sites.
• Assist with pre-planning and on-site coordination using BIM/VDC tools.
