Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Journeyman Electrician 1 to support commercial and industrial electrical construction in Georgia. The role involves installing, altering, and repairing electrical systems under supervision, with opportunities to learn more within Amteck’s divisions.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of field experience, bring necessary tools, and be capable of working overtime and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Possess tools required by company policy and able to use them to perform tasks.
• Demonstrate the Amteck Way in daily work activities, behavior and decision making.
• Able to work project schedules including weekends and overtime.
• Interest and aptitude to learn job-related material on the job.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using measuring devices and hand tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, branch circuit and feeder conductors.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of circuiting.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out small areas of work from electrical drawings and project documents, including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and general power circuits.
• Lead and mentor Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
