Job summary

Walmart in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Facility Services to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, diagnose issues, and document activities for safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

2 years of electrical trade experience
Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work
Valid state-issued driver’s license
License in related trade in city/state of work

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools.
Document maintenance activities, repair work, and equipment conditions accurately.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet safety standards.
Respond to emergency calls and support on-call rotations.
Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment compliant with safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies.
