Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, to perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs across our facilities. You will diagnose electrical issues, interpret blueprints, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining accurate documentation.

In this role, you will participate in on-call rotations to address urgent facility needs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable facility operations at Walmart

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical trade.
Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license.
License in related trade in city/state of work.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and tools.
Document maintenance activities, repair work, and equipment conditions accurately.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and support on-call rotations.
Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies while maintaining a safe work environment.
