Job summary

Universal Technical Institute in Exton, Pennsylvania invites an experienced electrical instructor to join our teaching team. You will lead hands-on demonstrations, guide diagnostics and repair for commercial systems, and help students build confidence with electrical concepts.

We offer a competitive $36.00–$38.00 per hour wage with OT, paid training, and a generous benefits package including tuition waiver after 6 months, time off, retirement matching, parental leave, and health coverage for you

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of practical field experience required (teaching experience excluded).
• Journeyman/Licensed Technician or NCCER Instructor credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate learners, creating a welcoming space for hands-on electrical instruction.
• Teach by doing with live demos and guided practice in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for residential, commercial, and industrial systems.
• Partner with faculty to refresh and build courses aligned with industry changes.
• Mentor students through projects, fostering critical thinking and problem solving.
• Lead with safety and model best-practice procedures for all learners.
