Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group in Rockdale, TX seeks an Experienced Journeyman Electrician for our data center. This long-term, on-site role features 7 days on and 7 days off (Wed-Tue 12-hour shifts) with industrial electrical responsibilities and on-site maintenance.

You will read blueprints, install and maintain electrical systems, and ensure safety compliance while supporting critical infrastructure. A Journeyman certification or relevant degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical work, preferably in industrial settings.
• Journeyman level electrical experience or relevant associate degree.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow plans/blueprints for lighting, intercom, and electrical systems.
• Set up and manage electrical apparatus for alarms and systems.
• Install safety and distribution components (panels, switches, etc.).
• Inspect transformers and circuit-breakers.
• Organize conduits and wiring installations.
• Inspect and replace old wiring and cables; prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units.
