Job summary

Bitdeer operates a Rockdale mining data center and is seeking an Operations Technician for a hands-on, on-site role. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced environment, with 12-hour shifts and a night differential.

The position is full-time with a 6-month contract-to-hire through Express Employment Professionals. A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with monitoring software are essential for success on the floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Solid understanding of software tools (MS Office, Outlook, Google Docs) and machine monitoring software.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hands; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, and test equipment with time-sensitive urgency.
• Install and maintain production machines (miners) and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance windows.
• Physically supervise mining machines and network equipment.
• Operate and manage heat dissipation equipment daily.
• Assist with configuration and deployment of replacement machines.
• Respond to power failures, network issues, and overheating events to keep machines running.
