Job Description

The Journeyman Electrician performs terminal and electrical service, equipment and system repair, maintenance, testing, and installation tasks for various customers and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a consistent employment history, high professionalism, and uphold our reputation for quality service and safety.

A Journeyman Electrician will:

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints for wiring and equipment installation, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications.
• Design new or modified installations to minimize waste, ensure accessibility for maintenance, and meet safety standards.
• Test electrical systems and circuits using testing devices to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Understand and comply with government, local regulations, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Lead Commercial Service Technician.
• Current TDLR Texas Journeyman's License.
• Reliability with working hours Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and weekends.
• Excellent communication and professional presentation skills.
• Valid and current driver's license.
