Job summary

Miller Electric Company in Savannah, GA is seeking a Journey-level Electrician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems across diverse environments. State licensure is helpful but not required, with a safety-focused, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities include fabricating and wiring, testing equipment, and adhering to NEC and OSHA standards while performing demanding manual labor and elevated work when needed.

Qualifications

• Have minimum 14,000 field hours documented and verifiable on a commercial/industrial site.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade, codes and safety.
• Requires initiative and ability to make technical decisions per codes.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, maintains, installs, and modernizes electrical systems per OSHA and NEC.
• Locates malfunctions using test equipment and performs repairs.
• Installs light fixtures, wiring, conduits, panels and related equipment safely.
• Performs tests on motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
