Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Construction Electrician Course or equivalent training.
• 1 year of field experience or 3 years as an Electrician Helper in the field.
• Ability to read, write and follow supervisor directions.
• Basic math, tape measure use and voltmeter/multimeter operation.

Responsibilities

• Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure code compliance.
• Follow blueprints to install wiring before walls/ceilings/floors close.
• Measure, cut and assemble conduit with hand tools and power tools.
• Pull wiring, splice wires, and apply tape or terminal caps.
• Connect wiring to lighting, motors, switch boxes, relays, and panels.
• Test circuit continuity for safety and compatibility.
• Observe equipment operation and adjust as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
