Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of Construction Electrician Course with 1 year experience or 3 years as Electrician Helper.
• State or local certifications may be required.
• Able to read, write and understand directions from supervisor and welder.
• Basic math, tape measure literacy, and voltmeter/multimeter usage.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied environments.
• Drug test and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure safe wiring per code.
• Follow blueprints and install wiring before walls are closed.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble conduit with basic hand tools.
• Pull wiring, splice, and terminate with caps and tape.
• Connect wiring to lighting, motors, and panels; test circuits.
