Job summary

Reframe Systems, a Physical AI and robotics leader, seeks a Journeyman Electrician (Class B) to support modular housing systems in our Andover facilities and at project sites. You will contribute to electrical layouts, wiring, and constructability while mentoring apprentices.

The role emphasizes safe, compliant installations, collaboration with engineers, and on-site connections, with growth toward Master Electrician through licensure support and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Electrician license.
• 3+ years of electrician experience in residential or commercial projects.
• Strong NEC knowledge and code compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overhead.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations in modular housing units in the factory.
• Assist with on-site electrical connections during module installation.
• Collaborate with engineers on electrical layouts and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and system diagrams for accuracy.
• Work with production teams and field crews to finish projects efficiently.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices to ensure safe, high-quality work.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician (Class B) to join our team and play a critical role across factory and field operations. This unique position offers the opportunity to work in a controlled factory environment and at project sites, ensuring the seamless installation and integration of modular housing systems. You will also contribute to the building design process, providing input on electrical layouts, system specifications, and constructability. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong technical skills and a desire to grow their career.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Perform electrical installations in modular housing units in the factory, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and panels.

• Assist with on-site electrical connections during module installation, ensuring systems comply with project specifications and codes.

• Collaborate with engineers and designers during the building design process to provide input on electrical layouts, system specifications, and constructability.

• Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, digital plans, and system diagrams.

• Work closely with production teams, field crews, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

• Supervise and mentor apprentices, ensuring safe and high-quality work.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with the Massachusetts Electrical Code (NEC) and Reframe Systems’ standards.

• Conduct quality checks on factory-built and field-installed systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues both in the factory and in the field.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors to address challenges and propose solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Massachusetts Electrician license.

• 3+ years of experience as an electrician, in residential or commercial/residential projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, particularly the NEC.

• Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and digital plans.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
