Job summary

Reframe Systems in Andover, MA is seeking a Licensed Plumber (Class 2) to join our factory and field teams. You will install water supply, drainage, and gas piping in modular housing units, and contribute to on-site connections during module installs.

You will collaborate with engineers, review layouts, mentor apprentices, and ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Plumbing Code while helping scale our net-zero housing platform.

Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts Licensed Plumber (Class 2) license.
  • 3+ years of licensed plumbing experience in manufacturing, modular construction, or commercial/residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards, particularly the Massachusetts Plumbing Code.
  • Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and digital plans.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are setting up our first software driven factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We\'re Looking For

We are seeking a Licensed Plumber (Class 2) to join our team and play a critical role across both factory and field operations. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a controlled factory environment to assemble modular housing systems and participate in on-site plumbing installations during project builds. You will also contribute to the design process, providing valuable input on plumbing layouts and constructability. Basic Qualifications
