Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team at our facility in Salina. This role works Monday-Thursday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., plus occasional overtime, as required.

You will repair critical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot CNC and PLC hardware while maintaining equipment logs and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have industrial maintenance experience and be able to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer skills.
• Must provide proof of an electrical license and own tools for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Repairing critical equipment and performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot CNC and PLC hardware, including electrical/mechanical systems.
• Maintain detailed equipment logs and downtime records.
• Ensure safety and environmental procedures are followed.
