Qualifications

• Must provide proof of an electrical license.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills preferred.
• Provide tools for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Willing to learn and/or work on CNC and PLC troubleshooting.
• Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
• Maintains equipment logs on downtime and maintenance problems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Perform electronic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work.

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team at our our facility in Salina, KS.
This role works Monday-Thursday from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., plus occasional overtime, as required.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Willing to learn and/or work on mechanical/electrical hardware CNC and PLC troubleshooting.
• Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
• Maintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Ability to perform electronic repairs used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments.
• Provide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures are maintained.
• Help with scheduling down time for machine repairs or preventive maintenance.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned that require additional qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
