Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of electrical experience.
Must hold a Vermont State Journeyman License; Master Electrician level may be considered.
Knowledge of electrical testing equipment (ammeters, voltmeters, conduit-bending tools) required.
Experience with reading drawings and wiring diagrams for installation and repair.

Responsibilities

Analyze drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and install circuits and equipment.
Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specs, codes, and materials.
Locate faults by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting operations.
Install conduit, fittings, switches, controls and fixtures per NEC.
Calibrate plant equipment as required.
Maintain safety precautions and proper isolation of circuits.
Clean up machinery and work area after maintenance.
