• Perform electrical & instrumentation maintenance and installations, including preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs on equipment.

• Plan work using knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specs, and codes.
• Locate source of trouble by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faults.
• Install conduit, fittings, switches, and fixtures; wire equipment for new installations or replacements.
• Ensure safety precautions and isolate circuits to minimize operational interference.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Perform all electrical & instrumentation maintenance and installations including but not limited to preventive, corrective, installations and emergency repairs on all equipment. Request down time for maintenance with Production personnel.

• Analyze drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and install circuits and equipment and to determine materials and parts needed.

• Locate source of trouble in electrical equipment when needed, by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation.

• Install conduit, fittings, switches, controls and fixtures. Wire and connect all types of electrical equipment as required for new installation or replacement of facilities, per the National Electrical Code.

• Consider all safety precautions and the proper isolation of circuits to cause a minimum of interference to operations.

• Clean up machinery and work area after performing maintenance functions.

• Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Maintenance Department.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
• Must possess a minimum of a Vermont State Journeyman License. We will consider Master Electrician level depending on candidate qualifications.
• Must possess applicable knowledge of electrical testing equipment, e.g. ammeters, voltmeter, conduit-bending equipment, power hand tools and hand tools. Plant machinery and equipment, replacement parts, control cabinets, wiring, and conduit.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $66,560.00 - $88,000.00. This position is eligible for a 20% shift differential for working 3rd Shift.
