VectorUSA is seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician with the State of California. Candidates should have prior experience with electrical installation and service work.

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify electrical problems using testing devices
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures
• Follow building regulations based on the National Electric Code
• Train and supervise workers in electrical installation and repair

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years’ experience as a certified electrician in California
• Proven electrical experience, including industrial and/or commercial systems
• Ability to use electrical tools and read blueprints
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness to work long shifts, including overnight
• Completion of apprenticeship or vocational training as an electrician
• Valid California electrician license
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and fingerprinting
• Reliable vehicle and own tools
• Willingness to work evenings (starting around 2:30 PM)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks like bending and climbing

Compensation and Benefits

Starting at $42.00/hr., with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid leave, and 401k matching.
