Job Description

Titan Electric Group is now hiring for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team and provide value to our clients. Journeyman Electricians will install and repair electrical components on our commercial job sites, supervising a team of apprentices or other laborers.

Responsibilities

1. Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
2. Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order.
3. Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
4. Following state and local building regulations based on the Electrical Code.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid California driver’s license to operate a utility cart and other equipment.
2. 5 years’ experience as an Electrician on commercial or residential construction sites.
3. Experience in safely operating heavy equipment such as forklift, man lift, scissors lift, etc. required.
4. Must be familiar with common safety rules and practices required in the electrical profession, including Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
5. Good customer service skills and the ability to work well with others are a must.
6. Current General Electrician License in the state of California (HIGHLY preferred).
7. In-depth knowledge of building codes.
8. Ability to perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems.

Physical Demands

1. Job requires working in all elements depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
2. Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime when required.
3. Must be able to climb ladders and steep stairs, crawl, stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, and reach.
4. Must be able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds, and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
5. Must be able to work at various heights up to 120 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
6. Must possess good vision (may be corrected vision) and have the ability to see.

Rate:

$25-$45 HOUR depending on experience and licensing.
