DaVeer is seeking a skilled and ambitious Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Greater St. Louis area. This position is perfect for experienced electricians ready to lead or contribute to commercial and industrial projects with professionalism, efficiency, and a strong focus on safety.

As a dual Electrical & Mechanical contractor, DaVeer offers a unique opportunity to work alongside multiple trades, gain broader exposure to integrated systems, and contribute to complex, high-impact projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Lead or support crews with conduit installation, wire pulling, panel terminations, transformer setups, lighting systems, control wiring, and equipment connections.
• Create materials lists and process material orders.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems and equipment issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Communicate clearly with customers, foremen, apprentices, and management.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments.
• Mentor apprentices and provide on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience in commercial and/or industrial settings.
• Proficient in reading and executing electrical drawings and construction layouts.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong understanding of NEC, jobsite safety, and construction procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
