Job summary

Pure Fishing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly. You will perform repairs, installations, and testing of electrical systems in a hands-on environment, ensuring safety and efficiency on the floor.

The ideal candidate has four+ years of electrical experience or a Journeyman license, with strong PLC/control, schematics, and NEC knowledge. You will mentor peers and contribute to continuous learning while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Four or more years of electrical experience or a Journeyman license.
  • Experience with PLCs, drives, sensors, wiring, setup, and programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Proficient use of diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and test lamps.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to mentor less experienced teammates.
  • Commitment to safety and ongoing licensing development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Inspect and test lighting, power, communication, and signal circuits and equipment.
  • Identify wiring and equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
  • Replace defective switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
  • Install motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations at all times.
  • Inspect completed work for compliance with codes and safety standards.
  • Estimate time and materials required for electrical projects.
  • Request necessary parts and materials to complete assignments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues; seek help when needed.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members.

Pure Fishing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy tackling new challenges, we’d like to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

You will perform repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances—ensuring our systems remain safe, reliable, and compliant.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize hand tools and testing instruments effectively.

Inspect and test lighting, power, communication, and signal circuits and equipment.

Identify wiring and equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and test lamps.

Replace defective switches, outlets, and other electrical system components with precision.

Disassemble and repair electrical machinery, including gears, brushes, and armatures.

Install motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures in accordance with specifications and wiring requirements.

Follow all established safety procedures and regulations at all times.

Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Estimate time and materials required for electrical projects.

Request necessary parts and materials to complete assignments.

Perform a variety of non-routine tasks independently, adjusting methods and tools as required.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues, seeking assistance when necessary.

Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members as needed.

Maintain continuous learning toward advanced licensing and professional development.
