Job summary

Corbins in the Southwest is seeking Journeyman Electricians to support the construction of data centers, commercial and industrial facilities. You'll direct electrical construction work on assigned projects and ensure safe, efficient installation.

This safety-sensitive role requires NEC/OSHA compliance, lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to work at heights, and willingness to overtime. OSHA-10 needed or provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience.
• Proficient knowledge and compliance with NEC and OSHA safety standards.
• Strong expertise in materials, equipment, installation methods and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Must have or obtain an OSHA10 card (training provided if not possessed).
• Able to work a 40-hour week with overtime as required.

• Test systems and ensure electrical safety and compatibility.
• Inspect equipment operation and address hazards or adjustments.
• Possibly pull wire and connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.

We are currently seeking Journeyman Electricians to support the construction of some the most challenging and exciting projects in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Project Assignments: Some of the largest data center and semi-conductor programs in the Southwest with years of backlog.

Wages: We are offering a very competitive base rate plus incentive on participating projects.

Hours: 50-Hour work weeks plus optional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Drive a growth-motivated and safety-first culture.
• Direct electrical construction work for assigned projects.
• Ensure professional resolution of escalated field-related issues and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and schedule.
• Enforce all NEC local codes and stay up to date on industry changes.

• Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations
• Installs control and distribution apparatus’ and fastens in place
• Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components by testing and starting up systems and
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
• May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
• Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems
• Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience
• Proficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standards
• Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade-related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area.
• Able to work a 40-hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location. An OSHA10 card is required for this role. Don't have one? Don't worry we will provide you with the training at zero cost to you
