Job summary

R&D Specialties is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to oversee the execution of electrical projects. You will lead installations, mentor a crew, and ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and project plans.

You will review drawings, coordinate with managers and clients, and drive on-time delivery while maintaining documentation of materials and safety reports. A licensed journeyman with leadership skills is required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license and relevant certifications or 3+ experience in industrial/commercial electrical
  • PLC experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience in leading electrical projects and teams
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Background Check/Drug Screening

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety reports
