Job summary

Heartland Home Service in Newburgh, IN is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to service residential systems, install and upgrade panels, perform inspections, and support standby generators. You will diagnose issues, read diagrams, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems.
• Install, replace, and upgrade electrical panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, and wiring.
• Perform whole-home electrical inspections and safety evaluations.
• Install and service standby generators and transfer switches.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide customers with repair options.
• Complete accurate documentation, estimates, and invoices through company software.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
