About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installations with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires expertise in various electrical tasks including reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyperson Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services in both residential and light commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential or light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues or replacements in compliance with state and local electrical codes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
• Complete all estimates and notes in an accurate and timely manner.
• Explain and provide estimates for the services to be performed for maintenance or repair and ensure it is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Maximize lead opportunities based on company’s business plan.
• Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
• Always maintain a professional image by wearing only company provided apparel.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable residential electrical service experience.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic cost estimating.
• Strong oral and reading skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient multitasking and adaptability.
• Team player with positive attitude.
• Ability to use smartphone and iPad.
