JT Electric llc is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician in Utah to work on commercial and industrial projects, installing conduit, wiring, lighting and fire alarm systems while reading blueprints and leading small crews.

Qualified candidates will hold a Utah Journeyman license, be proficient in reading electrical drawings, and commit to safety on site. The role offers paid time off, overtime opportunities, and a clear path to leadership within a full-service contractor.

Your New Role

• Work as a Journeyman Electrician on projects in Utah

• Install conduit, electrical wiring systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, and related electrical components

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications

• Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations according to applicable electrical and building codes

• Manage small crews and coordinate daily electrical work

• Train and mentor electrical apprentices

• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

• Support design-build electrical projects across commercial, industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, and multi-family environments

• Valid Utah Journeyman Electrician license

• Experience with conduit installation, electrical wiring systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, and related electrical work

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, blueprints, plans, and applicable building codes

• Ability to work independently and assist with training or mentoring electrical apprentices

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong commitment to electrical safety and maintaining a safe work environment

• Previous supervisory or small-crew leadership experience is a plus
