Job summary

Geneva Rock Products is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across industrial, commercial, and residential settings in Utah. You will work with the Electrical Foreman and production team to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, a Utah Journeyman license, and familiarity with PLC controls.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification.
• 3+ years of electrical installation and repair in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
• Valid Utah State Journeyman Electrician License.
• Familiarity with PLC controls and Relay Logic.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, if required.

Job Summary: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. They will work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

The Journeyman Electrician will report to the Electrical Foreman and work closely with the production team to ensure optimal performance of industrial machinery and equipment.

In this role you will work in our South Wasatch Front Area: Santaquin, Payson, Orem, Draper, Saratoga Springs, Heber, Park City, and Murray.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical panels

• Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to ensureoptimalperformance

• Inspect components, including wiring and electrical products to ensurethey’resafe and within the required code

• Log time and resources in E360

• Commute between work locations along the Wasatch Front

• Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock

• Maintain tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and provide solutions

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

• Keepup-to-datewith industry codes and standards and ensure compliance in all work

• Collaborate with other trades professionals, such as HVAC technicians or plumbers, as needed

• Communicate with customers to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendations

• Train and mentor apprentices or less experienced electricians, as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

• Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification

• 3+ years of experience inindustrial,commercialand/or residential electrical installation and repair

• Valid Utah State Journeyman Electrician License

• Familiarity of PLC controls and Relay Logicpreferred

• Knowledge of electrical systems and codes and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints

• Familiarity with a variety of electrical tools and equipment

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Basic computer skills, includingproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, ifrequired

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
