Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in commercial, industrial, and government facilities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system safety and efficiency.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics to execute project requirements accurately.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Train and mentor apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or in a similar role.
  • Valid Journeyman electrical certificate in the state of NJ.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, and government electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA 40-hour training and safety protocols for working on EPA-regulated projects and contaminated sites.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including controls, motors, starters, limit switches, well pumps, conduit bending, and troubleshooting in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to pass background clearance, fitness/physical assessments, and drug screening prior to onboarding.

Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to work at heights, including on scissor lifts, man lifts, and ladders.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Possession of standard electrician tools required for the job (large equipment is provided).

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
