Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility. This role troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Equipment includes punch presses, robotic equipment, roll-forming machines, compressors, welders, and other manufacturing machinery.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Welding skills preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and controls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and equipment docs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair, replace, rewire, clean, and test electrical assemblies, panels, components, and controls.
• Operate and test machinery to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving bearings, pumps, shafts, and presses.
• Use precision tools to inspect equipment and determine wear and tolerances.
• Dismantle machinery to access defective components with hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Perform setup tasks and maintain tolerances around ±0.005.
• Follow NEC requirements and proper electrical installation practices.
• Operate forklift as needed and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Electrician / Industrial Maintenance

Pay: $41.88/hour + $0.25/hour tool allowance on all straight-time hours worked
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday
Hours: Hours may range between 4:00 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed; occasional weekend work may be available based on production needs

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrician / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Equipment includes large and medium punch presses, metal shears, robotic equipment, roll-forming machines, compressors, spray-painting equipment, welders, and other manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and controls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and equipment documentation.
• Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair, replace, rewire, clean, and test electrical assemblies, panels, components, and controls.
• Operate and test machinery to verify proper operation following repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving bearings, pumps, shafts, punch presses, and other production equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, rulers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect equipment and determine wear and tolerances.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment to access and replace defective components using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Perform machine repair and equipment setup while working to tolerances of approximately ±.005.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and proper electrical installation practices.
• Perform certain equipment setup tasks, including turning copper.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician required.
• Welding skills required.
• Minimum of approximately 3 years of journey-level industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.
• Experience using electrical test equipment, specialized maintenance tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• High school diploma, technical school education, apprenticeship, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of an industrial maintenance position.
• Must provide required tools according to the company's position tool list.
