Job summary

Full Circle Recruiting is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician for our manufacturing facility. You will join the Maintenance Department to support electrical systems, production equipment, and facility reliability.

The role emphasizes safe work practices and hands-on maintenance in a fast-paced setting, with first shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and occasional weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• At least five years of electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and automated machinery.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; general manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on panels, lighting, motors, and PLCs.
• Identify hazards and arrange timely repairs or replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools: voltmeters, scopes, and ohmmeters.
• Maintain records of work, inspections, parts, and tools.
• Install and service motors, transformers, generators, and breakers.
• Support HVAC and mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and general facility upkeep.
• Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site safety procedures.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support production.

Company Overview

Full Circle Recruiting is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician for a manufacturing facility. This role joins the Maintenance Department and supports electrical systems, production equipment, and facility reliability.

Shift: First shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; some flexibility and weekend availability required

Position Overview

The Journeyman Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. This role also assists with mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and holds a valid Journeyman Electrician license.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, controls, wiring, and equipment in accordance with applicable codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, lighting systems, motors, and PLC systems.
• Identify electrical hazards and defective equipment and arrange timely repair or replacement.
• Use diagnostic tools, including voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
• Maintain records of completed work, inspections, parts, and tools.
• Install and service motors, transformers, generators, circuit breakers, and related equipment.
• Support HVAC and mechanical system troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist the maintenance team with mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, and general facility upkeep.
• Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site safety procedures.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and support production needs.
• Work with engineers, production personnel, and other maintenance staff to improve equipment performance.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship completion strongly preferred.
• At least five years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience maintaining motor controls, PLCs, and automated machinery.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safe work practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or sheet metal inspection.
• Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), ERP systems, or quality management systems.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
