Job summary

Shanahan Mechanical & Electrical is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for a full-time, on-site role in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position includes a $4,000 new hire bonus and requires licensure to work in Nebraska.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, read blueprints, and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks where applicable, with safety and reliability prioritized across projects.

Qualifications

• Current State of Nebraska Electrical Journeyman License.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of job foreman and other supervisors.
• Performs all facets of commercial electrical installations.
• Works from all type of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedure.
• Local travel as required.
