Responsibilities of the Journeyman Electrician

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire electrical devices
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
• Assist in load-testing generator packages
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages
• Read wiring diagrams
• Properly install all electrical equipment required for project completion (e.g., brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels)
• Use measuring and electrical testing equipment proficiently
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Journeyman Electrician

• Previous electrical experience; some on-the-job training available
• Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with AC and DC electrical systems is a plus
