Join us as a Journeyman Electrician - 1st Shift at Miller Industries, LLC

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician - 1st Shift to join our team at Miller Industries LLC, located on Copper Ave in Fenton, MI. Our 1st Shift operates Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime on weekends as needed. This position offers the advantage of working at the same indoor location every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Install wiring, fixtures, power equipment, and machinery components according to electrical codes, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install control and distribution devices such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit breaker panels.
• Connect power supply wiring, cables, and conduit for new and existing facilities per diagrams and schematics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuit, system, and equipment issues using testing instruments.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit using appropriate tools.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician License for at least 3 years.

• Familiarity with the NEC code book.
• Experience bending EMT and Rigid conduit.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
