Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Irvine team. You will wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment for residential and light commercial applications.

Qualifications include a valid Journeyman Electrician License (or pending), 3 years of electrical experience, and strong NEC knowledge. The company offers industry-leading training, competitive pay, and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or be scheduled to obtain one.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches).
• Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems.
• Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely.
• Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
