Job summary

SoBro Construction in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Journeyman Electrician who wants more than a tools-only role. This field position starts in the field but offers trajectory into foreman and supervisor roles, mentoring apprentices, and coordinating with GCs on site.

You will perform commercial/industrial electrical installations, read drawings, enforce safety, and work closely with the project team to manage schedule, materials, and scope.

Qualifications

  • Oregon Journeyman Electrician license required.
  • Solid commercial and/or industrial experience; strong on plans, specs, and code.
  • Reliable and present — the field, the office, and clients can count on you.
  • Good communicator: talk to GC, inspector, and apprentice in the same afternoon.
  • Understanding that hours, materials, and change orders impact cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead commercial and industrial electrical installation work.
  • Run work from drawings and specs; maintain quality and code compliance.
  • Support and enforce jobsite safety practices (OSHA and state regulations).

  • Flag scope changes and field conditions early; be the eyes on the job.

We're hiring a JourneymanElectrician who wants more than atools-only job. This is a field rolefirst but we're looking for someonewith the judgment and ambition to growinto field leadership: running crews,walking jobs with GCs, supportingestimates, and eventually helping leadthe division. If you're a strongelectrician who's been waiting for ashop small enough to actually notice,this is that role.

What you'll do

Compensation
