JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

Location: Hattiesburg, MS

Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour DOE

PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Journeyman Electrician will perform the following duties:

1. Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams
2. Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers
3. Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
4. Use hand and power tools
5. Adhere to state and local building regulations
6. Complete work orders on time
7. Create records of materials used
8. Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven previous experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a certified Electrician
• Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to work independently without supervision
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repairs
