Envocore, LLC is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to support solar and energy‑storage projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Fruita, Colorado. This full‑time role requires traveling to job sites and a Journeyman license or proven apprenticeship, with strong wiring, conduit, and panel installation skills, plus familiarity with NEC and safety protocols.

You will read blueprints, install solar power systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with site supervisors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Government, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States. This position may require travel. All candidates considered for this position must be willing to travel for work.

Summary:Journeyman electrician is a skilled worker who has completed an apprenticeship and is qualified to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Their job includes reading blueprints, wiring buildings, Energy storage systems, Solar photovoltaic (pv) systems, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring code compliance, and working safely on various projects such as residential, commercial, and industrial sites. They typically work under the supervision of a master electrician and have the responsibility to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and operate safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Reports to site supervisor to receive day's assignment.

•Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools used to install electrical wiring

•Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required.

•Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboard and all other electrical equipment.

•Installing Solar Power Systems: Mounting and wiring solar panels, inverters, and other components on rooftops or ground-mounted systems.

•Electrical Wiring: Connecting solar panels to electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, and the grid, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.

•System Inspection and Testing: Checking installed systems for safety, proper operation, and compliance with electrical codes.

•Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing issues with solar systems to maintain optimal performance.

•Reading Schematics and Blueprints: Interpreting electrical and architectural plans related to solar installations for AC and DC installations.

•Installing Solar Power Systems: Mounting and wiring solar panels, inverters, and other components on rooftops or ground-mounted systems.

•Electrical Wiring: Connecting solar panels to electrical systems, including inverters, batteries, and the grid, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.

•System Inspection and Testing: Checking installed systems for safety, proper operation, and compliance with electrical codes.

•Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing issues with solar systems to maintain optimal performance.

•Reading Schematics and Blueprints: Interpreting electrical and architectural plans related to solar installations.

•Operate maintenance equipment and a variety of power tools including portable drills, aerial lifts, skid steer, wire puller, pipe bender, jump jack and related equipment as required.

•Comply with the company’s personal hand tools requirements and always ensure they are in proper working order.

•Assists with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed.

•Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order.

Education/Experience:

•High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Inventory software.

Certificates and Licenses:

Current Driver's License; OSHA 30; State issued Journeyman electrical license or have completed an approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program and have journeyman card.
