Job summary

Envocore, LLC is seeking Electrical/Solar Technicians for on-site installations in Bastrop, TX. Travel may be required as projects span commercial, industrial, and other facilities across the United States.

Responsibilities include installing solar arrays, wiring inverters and conduits, and ensuring safety and code compliance per NEC and OSHA standards, with ongoing training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass background/drug screen.
• Knowledge in Electrical and Solar.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on-site with all necessary tools, safety equipment, and PPE.
• Review system design plans and verify layout with project manager.
• Conduct a visual inspection of the roof for structural concerns or obstructions.
• Set up fall protection and safety barriers per OSHA standards.
• Secure racking/mounting system to roof structure, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
• Confirm all mounting hardware is torqued to specification.
• Safely lift and mount solar panels onto racking system.
• Ensure panels are properly aligned and securely fastened.
• Perform visual inspection for any damage or defects.
• Run conduit and wiring from array to inverter location.
• Install junction boxes, disconnects, and grounding as per NEC and local code.
• Mount and wire inverter(s) and connect to main service panel.
• Label all electrical components per code requirements.

Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Government, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States. This position may require travel. All candidates considered for this position must be willing to travel for work.

• Arrive on-site with all necessary tools, safety equipment, and PPE.
