As a Journeyman Electrician at Hertz Electric, you will be crucial in completing commercial electrical projects with a focus on quality and safety. Your responsibilities include installing wiring systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring top-tier service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, adhering to local codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure smooth operations for commercial clients.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on time.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Mentor apprentices, sharing your expertise and skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent with at least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and local building codes.
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and focused on client satisfaction.
• Experience with project management software like Procore or CompanyCam is a plus; training provided.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to NJ/NYC sites.
• OSHA 40 certification for NJ work and NYC DOB SST card for NYC projects.
