Job summary

SE&M Constructors, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in North Carolina to plan, lay out, install and repair electrical systems. You will report to foreman or superintendent and collaborate with field leaders to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid NC JW License, with responsibilities spanning panel and device installation, wiring, conduit work, diagnostics and maintenance on diverse electrical systems.

JOB SUMMARY

The Journeyman Electrician's primary duties are to plan, layout, install and/or repair cable, conduit and equipment. This position will report to Foreman or Superintendent or other designated field leaders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid NC JW License

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and instructions

• Must be able to positively identify wire colors and sizes
• Must have a working knowledge of NED and common trade procedures and standards
• Must be able to perform work safely with required PPE
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to climb and work off ladders and other elevated surfaces such as lifts
• Must possess the minimum required tools for SE&M
• Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite
