Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Electrician to plan, lay out, install and repair cable, conduit and equipment on-site, reporting to foreman or superintendent.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, adherence to standards, and reliable performance on energy infrastructure projects. The position requires a valid NC JW License, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift heavy loads and work from ladders or lifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and instructions.
• Must be able to positively identify wire colors and sizes.
• Must have a working knowledge of NED and common trade procedures and standards.
• Must be able to perform work safely with required PPE.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to climb and work off ladders and other elevated surfaces such as lifts.
• Must possess the minimum required tools for SE&M.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite.

• Installation of electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, switch boards, and other electrical equipment.
• Pulling wire and terminating
• Conduit bending, cutting, threading and installation
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems
• Install light fixtures and devices

JOB SUMMARY

The Journeyman Electrician's primary duties are to plan, layout, install and/or repair cable, conduit and equipment. This position will report to Foreman or Superintendent or other designated field leaders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
