Job summary

Jobot Consulting seeks Journeyman Electricians for mission-critical commercial projects across North Dakota. Per diem and housing offered. You will read blueprints, install and troubleshoot electrical systems, and uphold safety standards on large facilities, including data-center work.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of Journeyman experience, a valid license, and strong communication skills to collaborate with project teams and clients on schedules and requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Journeyman Electrician experience on large commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and one‑line diagrams.
• Extensive experience with electrical systems installation and repair.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety protocols and electrical codes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to clients and team members.
• A valid Journeyman Electrician license.

Responsibilities

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and one‑line diagrams to understand the electrical needs of large commercial or mission‑critical construction projects.
2. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally and safely.
3. Adhering to safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
4. Conducting electrical repairs as necessary, identifying issues promptly to prevent larger problems from developing.
5. Working closely with the project team to ensure electrical installations align with project timelines and specifications.
6. Keeping abreast of updates to electrical codes and implementing these changes into daily work practices.

To be considered for the Journeyman Electrician role, you will need:
