Journeyman Electrician - Davison Home Services

Davison Home Services, a home services company in Davison, MI, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a department within a reputable company with a large customer base. We offer a family-oriented environment and supportive management.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour, plus uncapped commission. Top performers can earn $50+ per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform residential electrical service, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools
• Plan layout and installation of electrical systems based on specifications and local codes
• Complete whole house rewiring projects

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrical License
• At least 2 years of residential electrician experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks

Additional Qualifications

• Preferably 2+ years of electrical service experience
• Must pass Motor Vehicle, Background, and Drug Screen
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Physical dexterity required

Additional Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems, guiding customers to informed decisions
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints for maintenance and installation
• Inspect and replace faulty equipment or wiring
• Follow electrical codes and regulations
• Document work in trade software, such as Service Titan
• Engage with customers to explain issues, solutions, and recommend products/services
