Position Summary

We are seeking a talented Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Pontiac, Michigan. This onsite role involves installation, repair, and servicing of electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, including testing, troubleshooting, and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and guiding Electricians and Apprentices
• Gathering equipment, tools, and materials
• Installing and repairing electrical systems
• Maintaining electrical systems and resolving issues
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Performing preventative maintenance and explaining procedures
• Interpreting blueprints
• Responding to emergencies
• Building client relationships
• Managing workload and OTJ training
• Adhering to safety protocols and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• Experience with power tools and construction equipment
• Customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA and health codes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain
• Long periods of standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and crawling
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen (if required)
